ABOUT THE MARYVILLE MLS

The Maryville Multiple Listing Service (MLS) is an incorporated (Northwest Multiple Listing Service, Inc.) organization affiliated with the Northwest Board of REALTORS®.

Local REALTORS® are quite proud of both organizations with good reason.  While both the local Board of REALTORS® and the local MLS are among the state's smallest, they are quite progressive and have services often offered only by much larger cities.  Several local members have served on state committees, area and state professional standards committees, and one was even the past president of the Missouri Association of REALTORS®.

After several years of a cooperative service, the Maryville MLS was formally organized in the mid-1980s.  After many years of a loose-leaf drop-off system, eventually each office was totally computerized with software specially designed for the local MLS.  

We have now taken the next step by going to a totally on-line system that offers both Realtors and the public a "real-time" update of new listings and listing changes.  

With today's MLS and its associated forerunners, Maryville REALTORS® have 25 years of cooperative experience.  By contrast, many Missouri cities of similar size to Maryville have only recently offered the public a formal multiple listing or data sharing service.
